Ms. AJ will lead us in story and song throughout the year--along with some special guests--as we explore a new theme each month.

Expect percussive instruments—provided by our friends at Unless Kids—to share and play, a couple of great reads, and a song circle whenever Ms. AJ graces us with her presence in our gender-inclusive space where all identities are encouraged to thrive.

In February, we'll celebrate Black History Month and Lunar New Year. Our story time reads include Hair Love by Matthew Cherry, Amy Wu and the Lantern Festival by Kat Zhang, and Celeste is a Star by C. Park—read by the author herself!

Adrienne Barnett (aka Ms. AJ) is a child educator and musical theatre advocate who began her teaching career in 2007. Come share her passion for all things musical and literary at H&H!

Meet C. Park, a Philadelphia-based author whose passion for storytelling and picture book literature was sparked during her time as a substitute kindergarten teacher. She writes to inspire, reminding readers that everyone has an inner whisper that knows they can achieve anything.
